In this episode of Mother Earth News and Friends, podcast team member Kenny Coogan chats with a very special guest to kick off the New Year: Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Grandin will be chatting with us about how to live more sustainably in the New Year. Dr. Temple Grandin has become a prominent author and speaker on both animal behavior and autism. She’s been a professor of animal science at Colorado State University for more than 30 years. She also has a successful career consulting on both livestock handling equipment design and animal welfare. She has been featured on NPR (National Public Radio), BBC, and shows such as “Larry King Live,” “Sixty Minutes,” and “Fox and Friends.” Articles about Dr. Grandin have appeared in Time Magazine, New York Times, Discover Magazine, Forbes, and USA Today. HBO made an Emmy Award-winning movie about her life, and she was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2016.
