Honey Wine Recipe
Honey makes great wine, also known as mead. (See MOTHER EARTH NEWS, NO. 5 on wine making.) We recommend using a little less honey than Gary suggests: a pint to a pint and a half per gallon jug. Also, we sometimes add about two cups of fruit juice (we’re partial to currant) to the basic mead recipe for a light fruit drink.
