VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
Jessica Kellner: We’re here at the Mother Earth News Fair check-in with Deborah Neimann-Boehle. She’s doing a presentation today on bread baking and we’re going to ask her a couple questions.
Deborah, how easy or difficult is it to make your own bread?
Deborah Neimann-Boehle: Baking bread is really very easy once you learn how to do it and learning to do it is not hard at all. You just basically follow the recipe and as long as you know the troubleshooting tips you’re fine. If it’s too sticky, you add more flour and you stick it in the oven and regardless of what you come out with you can eat it.
Jessica Kellner: Perfect and what’s one of the easiest types of bread to make that you maybe make around your household frequently?
Deborah Neimann-Boehle: I love to make french bread there’s no fat there’s no sugar in it it’s real easy you can use it for sandwiches. After a couple days it gets stale and then you can just slice it up and cube it make croutons out of it or if you don’t get croutons you can stick it in the freezer and use it later for stuffing a turkey or chicken.
Jessica Kellner: Perfect alright well thank you, we’re looking forward to your presentation later today and your presentation tomorrow. We thank you so much for being part of the fair.
Deborah Neimann-Boehle: Alright, thanks!
