I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ALL YOU MOTHER EARTH FOLKS …
At the Fair, seemed like just about everybody asked me if I had a DVD about butchering deer. Which I don’t, yet.
BUT I COULD …
So I thought I’d ask all of you if you’d be interested in a DVD about the correct way to butcher deer. My aim is to demonstrate two methods of doing it, so you understand the options available to you for getting the most value out of your animal.
Frankly, I’m not sure that many hunters understand the butchering process. Now I’m not talking about field dressing here – there are plenty of DVDs out there that explain that.
What I’d like to know is whether you’d like me to create a deer butchering DVD that takes the process from the carcass through the initial breakdown to ready-to-eat cuts.
Assuming you’re interested, I’m asking you to send me an email at colethebutcher@yahoo.com. If enough of you ask for this, we’ll produce one for you ASAP — as in before Christmas. What a gift idea!
So let us know what you think. I’m at your command.
