Clabber Corn Bread Recipe
1 cup of cornmeal
1 cup of sifted whole grain flour
1/4 cup of sugar
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1 egg
1 cup of goat milk curd
1 tablespoon of oil
Sift the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the eggs, curd, and oil and beat the mixture until it’s smooth. Then pour the batter into a greased 9-by-9-inch baking pan (8-by-8-inch if you like your slices thick) and pop it into a hot oven (425 degrees) for 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the middle comes out clean.
