Going to the beach this summer? Now you can get real-time information on Great Lakes beach water quality advisories, weather and water conditions on your mobile phone with the myBeachCast app. The free smartphone application provides convenient, public access to swim advisories and other environmental information for more than 1,800 beaches in eight states. The myBeachCast app retrieves locational and advisory data for Great Lakes and inland lake beaches.
Viewer Tip: Download the myBeachCast Android app at beachcast.glin.net. A mobile-enhanced website, available from the Great Lakes Information Network, offers the same information for web viewers, iPhones and other mobile devices.
