This weekend I *finally* found the motivation to dig my silly little fire pit in the tipi. Beforehand I was just making little fires on the ground and watching them go out. I had no idea it was so difficult to maintain tiny fires. But now at least I can watch them go out in a good-looking little hole.
Here you can see my new Chacos modeling my little hole of rocks. Part of the pit is made of limestone that I “rescued” from a construction site dumpster at work. These rocks used to be a building, and now they’re part of mine.
Hope this late-summer weekend was extraordinary for everyone. I spent a lot of mine enjoying the beautiful curves in the earth. 🙂
