Maple Sugar Fudge Recipe
Measure 2 cups of maple sugar and 1/2 pint (1 cup) of cream
into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil to 240 degrees Fahrenheit, or
until the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped into cold
(not iced) water. Remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm
gloss. Pour the fudge into a lightly buttered 8 inch by 4 inch loaf
pan immediately and cut it into squares before it has
completely hardened.
