While making bread, I thought of my rice-filled hot compress that I heat in the microwave. I warmed it until it was the right temperature and put the bowl of bread dough on top of it to rise, reheating the compress as necessary.
The compress molded to the shape of the bowl I had the dough in, and it cut the dough’s rising time way down.
