Cinnamon Pears Recipe
Drain two 29-ounce cans of Bartlett pear halves and reserve
the syrup. Bring the syrup to a boil with 1/2 cup of
cinnamon candies and 1/4 teaspoon of whole cloves. Simmer 5
minutes, then add the pear halves and 2 tablespoons of
lemon juice. Simmer 5 minutes more and chill. These Cinnamon Pears
keep well for two weeks when refrigerated and they’re good
with pork and lamb.
