Use Recycled Coffee Cans for Easy Nail Storage

You don’t have to waste time looking for the right nail again with this inexpensive nail storage solution.

| June/July 2012

After finishing up a woodworking project, I had leftover nails in their original paper bags. The bags were tearing and nails were falling out into my toolbox.

My wife came to the rescue by supplying me with several recycled coffee cans with lids. I put each size of nail into a separate coffee can and taped one nail to the outside so I’d immediately know what was inside.
