This time of year often means muddy boots. For many of us, winter brings snow and slush while spring brings rain and mud. Editor Russell Mullin says, “When I’ve brought in multiple armloads of firewood on a snowy winter day, or I’ve come in from muddy springtime chores to grab something really quick, it’s often been an ordeal taking my wet, dirty boots off, especially when my hands were full.” The Bigfoot Boot-Slipper solves that problem.

Bigfoot Boot-Slippers are overshoes that are essentially boots for your boots. You simply slip them on, keeping your boots on your feet and the snow, mud, and dirt off your floor. The overshoes also feature a flip-up heel that you can use for a more secure fit if you’ll be wearing them for a long period of time.

Bigfoot of Maine makes its boot-slippers in the United States out of a durable, 1⁄4-inch-thick felt that’s a blend of recycled wool and Regen polyester (made from recycled plastic bottles). The slippers are also easy to clean. Simply slap them together outside, wash them by hand, hose them off, or put them in the washing machine on a cold cycle.
