Scenting your home with natural fragrances is a lot easier than you may think. Follow along with our simple DIY project to learn how to make your own reed diffuser. This simple craft looks attractive in any home. And, unlike store-bought air fresheners, it keeps homes smelling clean and fresh without the use of phthalates, VOCs, hazardous air pollutants and synthetic fragrances. Instead, they use bamboo skewers and essential oils—concentrated botanical oils derived from nature—to naturally scent spaces. In this reed diffuser oil recipe, we use peppermint essential oil, which is a very popular oil in aromatherapy. There are many uses for peppermint essential oil, including using it an at-home reed diffuser.
