How to Make a Scarecrow from an Old Hammock

This scarecrow is made from an old hammock arm with cans and tins to startle birds.

We’ve found that a spreader bar from a hammock is perfect to use as the “arms” of a homemade scarecrow.

Because it has so many holes, you can securely attach tin cans to make noise, along with aluminum pie plates and CDs to flash in the sunlight and startle the birds. Happy crow scaring!
