If you have an old satellite dish mounted on an adjustable pipe, you can turn it into a birdbath. Just loosen the bolts on the adjustor slide, move the dish into a horizontal position and then re-tighten.

To build a birdbath, get a 12-inch piece of pipe that is a quarter-inch larger in diameter than the dish support. Pound the 12-inch pipe into the ground until it’s at ground level. You can easily remove the birdbath when it’s time to mow! If there are bolt heads inside the recycled satellite dish, place a small amount of silicone caulk on them to ensure your birdbath won’t leak.
