Save Money with a DIY Soaker Hose

Homemade soaker hoses cost significantly less than store-bought versions, plus it’s less frustrating when they inevitably spring a leak.

I was tired of my expensive soaker hoses springing leaks. I would repair them, but then they’d squirt out somewhere else. I always had to replace them after a few years. I eventually started buying regular garden hoses at thrift stores for a few dollars and drilling 1/16-inch holes in them. These DIY soaker hoses work great and save me a lot of money and frustration.
