Robert Turner

Robert Turner is a science writer focused on food and farming, environmental science, and new technologies that improve food security, food sovereignty, and community resilience. He owns and operates an organic farm in the mountains of western North Carolina.

​After a successful business career starting multiple companies in diverse industries and global supply chains, Turner now dedicates his time to helping people understand the global food web and the final conquest of the earth–our soils.  He serves on the board of directors for the nationally recognized Organic Growers School and a regional land conservation advisory board.   He is an experienced speaker on regenerative agriculture and a food politics commentator, and a member of the National Association of Science Writers.
