It’s best to remove ticks from clothing before they latch onto your skin.

A method I have used to successfully remove a tick is to saturate a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide, cover the tick with the cotton ball and hold it there for a minute or two.

When I remove the cotton ball, the tick will have backed out, head and all.
