Versatile Solar Lights

In case of a power outage, use solar lights from the garden for emergency lighting.

| February/March 2012

When a bad storm comes and knocks out our power, my family and I get the solar lights from our garden. They provide us with light for two days before we need to put them outside to be recharged. Our house won’t burn down if the lights get knocked over, and they are eco-friendly.

We also take the solar lights when we go camping. We carry them on our packs while we hike, set them out when we set up camp, and put them in the tent before bed, knowing that we have light and don’t have to worry about batteries going dead!
