How do I log in to my account?
You can log into your account by clicking “Login” located at the top right corner of the website (desktop) or by clicking the person icon located in the top right corner (mobile). Click here to log in now.
Is a membership the same thing as a subscription? What’s the difference?
Membership and subscription are interchangeable terms. Your membership/subscription benefits include:

Why did your prices increase so much?
In addition to the cost of printing and postage increasing, we also include many more benefits for members. We also offer digital-only at a reduced price. A digital-only membership has the same benefits but does not include a paper copy of the magazine. The digital copy is comatible with tablets and smartphones, but not currently compatible with desktop computers.
Can I subscribe to JUST a print or JUST a digital edition of the magazine and get it cheaper?
We offer a digital-only membership for a reduced price. To receive offers and promotions on discounted memberships/subscriptions, sign up for our newsletters here. Why is it important to be so tech-savvy just to get a subscription to a magazine?

After signing up for your membership, you will receive a series of welcome newsletters that will help you navigate the website and take full advantage of your membership benefits.
What is the easiest way to order a gift subscription for my friends or family?
It is your preference! You can order online, or contact customer care at call 1-800-234-3368 (Domestic) or 785-274-4365 (International). Online you can order several gifts at once. Please note that you will need the recipient’s email address to complete the transaction online.
What are the payment methods you accept for membership? Do you all still take good old-fashioned checks or money orders? Where do I send it?
Absolutely! Checks or money orders can be made out to Ogden Publications and addressed to 1503 SW 42nd Street, Topeka, KS 66609. If you order by phone you will need a credit or debit card for the transaction.
Why does it take so long to get my first issue when I am a new subscriber?
We do our best to get your issues to you as quickly as possible. Labels are generated weekly, are shipped to the printer, processed, and mailed through the postal system. This process can take 4 to 6 weeks.
How do I order the magazine and not have it on auto-renewal?
After ordering your subscription you will need to log in to your account and click “Manage Auto-Renew” on the Customer Service Options menu. If you have not created an account you can register and then log in. If you are unable to manage your account online, you may contact customer care at call 1-800-234-3368 (Domestic) or 785-274-4365 (International).
Who can I talk to about submitting articles or photos to be published in your magazines?
You can send an email by going to https://www.motherearthnews.com/contact-us/. Select the Editorial Department and fill out the form.
Why do the prices for books in the magazine not match up with what is online when I try to order?
To receive your membership discount you must be registered and logged in. You can do so by clicking the login/person icon in the top right corner of the store. There is a link in the login window to register if you have not done so.
How do I go about seeing past issues of magazines when I log in to my digital subscription?
You only have access to the issues that were released during your membership term. To view older issues before your membership term, you can purchase the Mother Earth News Archives in the Mother Earth News Store.
If I plan to call or email you, what information do you need to know from me to check on my subscription or account?
The best information you can provide is your registered email address or account number. If you do not know your registered email or account number, a Customer Care Representative can access your account information using your first and last name. .
