Make your own deodorant spray with rubbing alcohol!

My husband and I have avoided antiperspirants in conventional deodorants for several years. We had been buying Tom’s of Maine deodorant or other natural, safer choices at our co-op, but we were still frustrated by the plastic waste.

We started using a spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol for deodorant. If you like, you can add essential oils (peppermint or lavender) for some scent. The alcohol is strong enough to kill any odor-causing bacteria under your arms, and you save both plastic and money.
