Learn the basics of wet stone knife sharpening from tool expert Jonathon LeValley. LeValley spends hundreds of hours each year researching and testing tools and is ready to show you how to avoid the pitfalls of unnecessary equipment and cut through the myths surrounding establishing and maintaining an edge. Participants will be provided with an intentionally dull knife that is theirs to keep. Under careful and rigorous instruction they'll leave with a knife that has been freshly and professionally sharpened by their own two hands. Participants will also be given the option to purchase the sharpening supplies they used at the end of the workshop for a discounted price.
A ticket is required to participate in select Hands-On workshops. Space is limited. To guarantee your spot we recommend ordering an advance pass. A small number of passes will be available to purchase at the event.
