Learn how-to start from seed indoors using the English seed-starting method soil blocking. Lisa Ziegler shares the ground rules to starting from seed and growing healthy transplants. For those who want to grow organically and to have choices beyond what is available at the local garden center—seed starting is essential.
Participants will make a tray of 40 mini blocks and sow seeds to take home with care instructions.
A ticket is required to participate in select Hands-On workshops. Space is limited. To guarantee your spot we recommend ordering an advance pass. A small number of passes will be available to purchase at the event.
All Hands-on workshop are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
