Get your hands dirty and learn new homesteading skills! PLUS you take what you make!
Spend two hours learning how to treat your skin and hair naturally from head to toe using garden plants and common household ingredients. Janice Cox highlights some of the top natural beauty plants (many you may already have in your own yard). These plants can be used to cleanse, nourish, and treat your body. Creating your own products has a number of health benefits and will also make you a more educated consumer. It's fun, cost-effective, and puts you in control of what products and ingredients you are using on your hair and skin.
In this extended workshop you will be introduced to recipes and treatments from Janice’s newly revised book “Natural Beauty from the Garden” (Ogden Publications 2018). You will create an Herbal Shampoo, Natural Clay Facial Mask, Beeswax Lip Balm, Luffa Skin Scrub, Lavender Bath Bomb and Epsom Salt Garden Soak that you can take home and use. You will also receive a copy of “Natural Beauty from the Garden” featuring over 200 recipes to try at home using your newfound knowledge!
A ticket is required to participate in select Hands-On workshops. Space is limited. To guarantee your spot we recommend ordering an advance pass. A small number of passes will be available to purchase at the event.
All Hands-on workshop are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
