Note: Hands-On workshops can only be accessed by weekend or preferred seating passholders. Before purchasing this workshop please order your advance weekend pass or preferred seating pass to the Kansas FAIR. Tickets will not be sent in the mail for this workshop. You will check in at the event with the number of tickets purchased in your party. Please save your order confirmation.
Get your hands dirty and learn new homesteading skills! PLUS you take what you make!
Learn three leather stitches – blanket, saddle and whip stitch and the times when each of the stitches are used. Participants will receive a kit that includes the leather pieces to make a 4-inch by 6-inch pouch, needles, artificial sinew and instruction on how to sew the pouch together using the three different stitches.
A ticket is required to participate in Hands-On workshops. Space is limited. To guarantee your spot we recommend ordering an advance pass. A small number of passes will be available to purchase at the event.
All Hands-on workshop are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
