Get your hands dirty and learn new homesteading skills! PLUS you take what you make!
Learn how to make yarn with a drop spindle! Hand spinning is meditative and satisfying, and once you get the hang of it, you can make anything—from naturally colored wools to brightly dyed silks to Fido’s fur—into yarn. We’ll cover how to prepare your fiber, set up your spindle, spin, and finish your yarn. A spindle and 2 ounces of wool roving are included.
A ticket is required to participate in select Hands-On workshops. Space is limited. To guarantee your spot we recommend ordering an advance pass. A small number of passes will be available to purchase at the event.
All Hands-on workshop are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
