Try this Whole Wheat Muffin Recipe as an appetizing breakfast to start the day off right.
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbs. sugar (beet, or turbinado)
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil (corn or sesame seed)
Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar.
Combine egg, milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients all at once, stirring only enough to moisten.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degree (hot oven) about 20 minutes. Makes 12 medium-sized muffins.
