We have an un-named drink composed of tonic, gin, damiana liqueur and a sprig of slightly muddled sweet basil. Proportions are, of course, to taste ;) but in general make like a gin and tonic.
I make a kefir ginger ale using filtered water, a little bit of honey, 2 dried figs, fresh ginger and turmeric and my happy kefir grains. It has become our evening 'cocktail' to have with dinner. By the way, it is fabulous in supporting digestion! Such a win/win for our family to have a delicious, nutritious, digestion supporting cocktail.

I love to put fresh mint in a few of my favorite warm weather libations---one being Mojitos and the second being Mint Juleps----as an option to using rum for the Mojitos and Bourbon for the Juleps--I have found one company that produces several varities of legal moonshine----The Piedmont Distillery out of North Carolina makes a few versions of what they are marketing as moonshine---the one I use is the regular version of their Junior Johnson's Midnight Moon moonshine---it is made from corn grain but not flavored in barrels to make Bourbon or Whiskey--so it is the process used to make 'Shine! Midnight Moon has a very clean and "fresh" taste to me---a nice alternative to using rum, gin or vodka in drinks like those mixed with tonic and it does make a great mojito--I did subumit recipes to them for my versions of a Mojito and Mint Julep using that product--I call mine Junior's Julep and Midnight Mountain Mojito both being on their website---the product is not available everywhere yet---mostly in the southern states--but if you can find it--I urge ya to buy and try it for a different take on these drinks.
Well, mint for my Mojitos is an obvious one. I also will stick a handful of French lavender stems in a pitcher of lemonade for a good 8 hours to later on make cocktails with (usually just add vodka in a 2-1 ratio over ice). I like soaking tarragon in my gin for a twist on gin and tonic. Oh and I grow passionfruit, and every summer I'm famous around these parts for juicing the fruit and making margaritas with it that I spike with my own habanero chili oil that I press for a kick.
Mojitos of course! I really need to find a muddler though. I also make Lavender Lemonade that is great for vodka lemonade. Just make a simple syrup and add lavender blossoms and lemon zest while boiling. Strain the syrup and add lemon juice and water. Then drink or add vodka as desired. Yum!

I made a cocktail the other day with muddled lemon balm, fresh lime juice, elderflower liquor and gin. Add more elderflower liquor or simple syrup for a sweeter drink.
It would work great with any citrus fruit.
