Seeds: How Many Do You Need?

 seed exchangeSeeds! You are planning your garden and are ready to order them, but how many do you need?  Things to consider are the area to plant, germination rate, and extras for insurance. 

If you have a small garden, a packet of each will probably be enough for you, and maybe some to share.  If you are growing a significant amount of your food supply, or growing for market, you really need to pay attention to how many seeds you are getting in each packet.  The seed catalogs have helpful information in the sections preceding each crop.
