Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance Offers Seed School

Want to learn about seed saving, heirloom seed varieties, community seed resilience and much more? Consider attending Seed School at the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance.

| April/May 2016

The Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance (RMSA) has joined the mounting grass-roots efforts to fight the monopolization of seeds. Founded in 2014, RMSA offers practical information on seed saving to bolster seed security for everyone — farmers and consumers. The staff — including Bill McDorman, formerly of Native Seeds/SEARCH — offers intensive educational programs on starting community seed libraries, exchanges, grower cooperatives and heirloom seed companies. Courses include a six-day on-site Seed School and a seven-week Web version called Seed School Online.
