Frost-Free Garden Greenhouse

A hoop house is a great garden season extender, letting you plant earlier in spring and later into fall.

| August/September 2011

This is my frost-free greenhouse. With it in place, I can plant in the ground six weeks earlier than in the outside garden.

When the weather warms up, I remove the plastic ends. In September, I replace the plastic prior to the first frost.
