Photo of the Week: A Bug's Life

Bug Photo

Two small, nearly transparent wings propel this little bug from flower to flower. This image is so close you can see the little black lines that make up the interesting design on its yellow back. While the focus is on the flying bug, the petals of the flower lay gracefully in the background.

Thank you, CU photographer karinwilcox, for submitting your photo this week. See more photos of flowers, bug and horses in karinwilcox’s My Gallery.

Keep submitting your photos to the CU photo-sharing site. Each week one lucky photographer is chosen to be featured on our website.

Also, don’t forget to fill out your profile information and tell us a little about your pictures. What’s your dog’s name? Why is that kid making a funny face? What is the location of that beautiful landscape you captured? Keep up the great work!
