Help Energy Star lower energy costs! The Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program launched its 2011 Change the World, Start with Energy Star Campaign. This campaign encourages and inspires Americans to commit to energy efficiency by highlighting grassroots efforts of individuals all over the United States.

You can get involved and make a difference in any of the following ways:

  • Take the Energy Star pledge to take action on energy efficiency.
  • Find energy-efficiency events in your area with the EPA’s Energy Stars Across America interactive map. These events provide fun and interactive ways to learn about energy efficiency.
  • Enter the Be a Star Video Challenge. Send a video documenting how you save energy at home, school, the workplace and/or your community. Selected videos will be featured on energystar.gov and Energy Star social media sites. Favorite videos will be showcased in Energy Star’s Energy Awareness Month video in October.
  • Look for rebates on Energy Star qualified products.

Celebrate Earth Day (April 22) by making a difference with Energy Star!
