We've been getting ready for a new shipment of bees by doing some top bar hive modifications

Anna is starting a new virtual homesteading book club and the newly formed group voted on Henry David Thoreau's Walden for their first group discussion. There's still plenty of time for new members and we'd love to hear your thoughts on this American classic.

One of our roosters is beating up on two of our hens and the things we've tried so far don't seem to be working. Any advice from folks who have had this problem in the past would be greatly appreciated.
