International Homesteading Education Month LogoMOTHER EARTH NEWS and Grit magazines will kick-off the annual International Homesteading Education Month in September. Our online hub already lists wiser-living events nationwide, from organic garden tours and farm-to-table dinners to beekeeping and soap-making presentations, and more. We’d love to see this list continue to grow, so this month-long celebration of modern homesteading truly fosters “Neighbors helping neighbors — Building more self-reliant communities.”

It’s not too late for you to join in yourself by either hosting or attending an event this September. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to connect in a whole new way with like-minded folks where you live. Don’t be shy — everyone is invited to join!
