I use four 3-liter plastic drink bottles with screw caps as birdseed storage containers. Four bottles will hold one 25-pound bag of seed. To fill the bottles, I use the top half of a 2-liter bottle as a funnel.
When capped, the bottles keep the seed fresh and bug-free for a long time, and they are easier to store than the large bags of seed.
