This series of energy saving tips is brought to you by CleanEdison.

A really great way to use less energy is to air dry your clothes and dishes. While using a dryer and the dryAir drying a cat using a clothesline setting on your dishwasher can often be convenient, it requires little extra time to hang clothes on the line or open the door of your dishwasher for a couple hours. Replacing a task that uses electricity with one that does not is a no-brainer when trying to save on your energy bill — and air drying is one of the easiest ways to go.

It's also safe for cats!

If you are in the market for a new dryer or dishwasher, always remember to look for ENERGY STAR® models.

I used the plans at WWW.EASYWOODWORK.ORG to make my own – I highly recommend you visit that website and check their plans out too. They are detailed and super easy to read and understand unlike several others I found online. The amount of plans there is mind-boggling… there’s like 16,000 plans or something like that for tons of different projects. Definitely enough to keep me busy with projects for many more years to come haha. Go to WWW.EASYWOODWORK.ORG if you want some additional plans :)
