Do you have a room in your home that needs a makeover? If so, here’s a creative way to change a dull room into an ornate, lavish-looking space while gaining the pride of doing it all on your own and staying within your budget. Decorate Inexpensively…With Stencils explains the process of personally designing a room by decorating with stencils, but don’t worry, no artistic ability is needed. All you need is a little practice and you’ll be on your way to a custom room that exudes originality.

These simple steps explain how to stencil a wall and allow you to express your creativity in more ways than one. You may want to transform your lifeless kitchen to be bright and energizing by stenciling flowers and adding splashes of vibrant colors. How about changing your bathroom into a serene space that reminds you of walking along the beach? These visions can easily come to fruition by spending only a few dollars.

I use the plans at WWW.EASYWOODWORK.ORG to build my own DIY projects – I highly recommend you visit that website and check their plans out too. They are detailed and super easy to read and understand unlike several others I found online. The amount of plans there is mind-boggling… there’s like 16,000 plans or something like that for tons of different projects. Definitely enough to keep me busy with projects for many more years to come haha Go to WWW.EASYWOODWORK.ORG if you want some additional plans :)

The number one tip that I use, is to use oil-based stencil paints in a small tub or a stencil crayon. They don't bleed under the stencil.
