How to Recycle Wrapping Paper

If you have a paper shredder, or even a good pair of scissors, you can repurpose wrapping paper.

| December 2014/January 2015

Here’s a tip that saves money, reduces waste and will help you recycle wrapping paper. The idea came to me as I was putting together a package for a birthday party and had no gift-basket stuffing.

I took all the small scraps of used wrapping paper I’d been saving and ran them through a paper shredder. This made a nice, colorful nest for the cookies and other treats in the gift basket.
