Faith's 20 minute dress

Some of you may remember Faith's Fifteen Minute Dress. Next up is Faith's Twenty Minute Dress. This particular garment works well as a beach coverup, or you can cut longer fabric panels to wear it as a regular dress.

Below are detailed instructions. Wherever you see black dotted lines in these images, that's where you'll sew. For larger views of the illustrations, visit Faith's Twenty Minute Dress on Design Fixation.

I just don't have the legs for a dress that short. And I never wear bold prints, makes my beard look silly!

I think the simple patterns are terrific and I intented to make  a couple. I would like to see ways to increase the size for us short , round women. also what about some simple patterns for children. Years ago there was a company called "Stretch and Sew". It had patterens that covered several size ranges. Does any on know if anyone still does that? It made it possible to trace a pattern on paper or "do sew" which was a semi transparent material. with this patten method it was possible to adjust a pattern for a larger or small bust or adjust the hip size. Also childrens clothes would be good too with a way to move from size to size with the same pattern.
