About the Authors: Jeremy Hobson is a freelance writer living in France. His interests in chickens and bantams began as a result of his grandfather's own obsession; Jeremy went on to win several major poultry prizes by the age of 15, and has kept many breeds during the ensuing 40 years. He contributes regularly to country magazines and has written numerous books. Aside from poultry keeping, Jeremy's interests include country sports, farming and gardening.

Celia Lewis is an award winning artist, having studied drawing in Florence, and has held various exhibitions around her home in England. Celia is also a glass engraver, with a particular emphasis on natural objects such as leaves and feathers. She finds inspiration in her own garden, where she keeps chickens and guinea fowl, and in the surrounding countryside.
