The fastest, easiest way to enter the green workforce is installing energy efficiency in commercial and industrial buildings. Lighting, for example, in most factories and warehouses are old T12 type fluorescent lamps. Millions of these old fixtures will need to be replaced with modern electronic ballasts, new high intensity T8 or T5 fluorescents and ultra efficient light reflectors made from something like Miro aluminum. Most facility managers are yet unaware that combining fluorescents, electronic ballasts and Miro can reduce energy consumption by 75%.
