Green products, services and other announcements from green companies.
Founded in 2009, Vermont’s next famous food icon, The Vermont Peanut Butter Company has spread throughout the USA and Internationally. Being likened in many publications as the “next Ben and Jerry’s” of peanut butter, VTPB has an excellent grass roots feel, a very colorful and fun look in addition to a product that is probably carried in 9 out of 10 homes. We were just written about in LIVIN the Vermont Way Magazine as “on the brink of stardom”. Vermont Peanut Butter prides itself on making ten of the most wholesome and scrumptious nut butters on the planet. The flagship of the company are its flavors. Good Karma (rich dark chocolate peanut butter), Harvest(maple peanut butter with organic dried apple chunks), Green Mountain Goodness (almond butter/ peanut butter blend with flax and pumpkin seeds and Champlain Cherry(almond butter with dark chocolate and cherries) are just the beginning. Our plain Creamy and Chunky is without a doubt the tastiest you may ever experience. Nothing added, just delicious organic nuts and a little low sodium sea salt.
VTPB uses only organic nuts as its basis on al products and then adds only the finest, freshest organic and/or natural ingredients. VTPB products contain NO preservatives, NO hydrogenated oils, NO added sugar, NO trans fats, extremely LOW sodium and each jar is made fresh to order….including retail store orders.
Vermont Peanut Butter Company has taken it a step even further. We add 100% pure whey isolate to all eight flavors (not the creamy and chunky), making these products some of the highest protein nut butters available. 10g of protein in every serving! VTPB is an excellent food source for Vegetarians, diabetics, people with high blood pressure, athletes and people who just enjoy a delicious product with health benefits.
VTPB is a Green Company. We use recyclable containers and lids. We pack all of our orders in re-useable cardboard and protect it with recycled newspaper. We waste nothing and every ounce of nut butter created gets used. We even contribute our short runs to food banks and pet enthusiasts.
