Try blending veggies into pizza sauce to give it added nutrition.

I was the only man with a home day care license in the Minneapolis area for 10 years. The kids loved the homemade pizza I served for lunch, but the picky eaters would balk at the sight of peppers, onions and mushrooms on the pizza.

To fix this problem and still provide a nutritious meal, I started putting the “offensive” veggies in a blender along with the pizza sauce. The kids never noticed the addition. As time went on, I added tiny chunks of the veggies to the pizza until the kids were comfortable with normally sliced toppings.
