Savor the flavors of everyday real food, fresh from the garden or stored on your pantry shelves.
You don’t need toast to enjoy this apple butter. Whip up simple syrup by simmering one part sugar with one part water until the sugar is dissolved, then chill.
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp sugar
1 ounce hard cider
1 ounce butterscotch schnapps
1/2 to 1 ounce cinnamon schnapps
Cinnamon stick (optional)
Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice or placing it in the freezer. Mix the cinnamon with sugar and pour it into a saucer. Pour a shallow layer of simple syrup into another saucer. Add the cider and schnapps to a cocktail shaker (or large glass) filled with ice, cover and shake vigorously. Discard the ice from the martini glass, then dip the rim in simple syrup followed by cinnamon-sugar. Strain and pour the cocktail into the chilled glass. Drop in a cinnamon stick to garnish.
