Save time baking bread, and spend more time enjoying and eating it, with this speedy dough-raising trick.

While making bread, I thought of my rice-filled hot compress that I heat in the microwave. I warmed it until it was the right temperature and put the bowl of bread dough on top of it to rise, reheating the compress as necessary.
