Brandied Apricots Recipe
Drain two cans of whole apricots and reserve 2
cups of the syrup. Combine the syrup in a medium-sized
saucepan with 3/4 cup of brandy, 2 broken cinnamon sticks,
and 6 whole cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and
simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Then pour the hot syrup
over the drained apricots in a bowl. Cover and chill about
3 or 4 hours or until serving time.
