Veterans to Farmers, established in spring 2011 by Denver-based Circle Fresh Farms, is a nonprofit organization that provides veterans with on-the-job experience to teach them the skills they need to begin a career in production agriculture.

Veterans who participate in the program receive paid training at one of Circle Fresh Farms’ network farms, learning firsthand about various organic farming and growing techniques. The program can be completed in nine months or less. For more information about the program, visit the Veterans to Farmers website.
