Speaker Bio

Chris Magwood has been helping individuals and organizations meet their sustainable building goals for almost 20 years. In his role as a director at The Endeavour Centre, he teaches a unique, full-time sustainable building program in which the students complete an entire building (including Canada's Greenest Home). At Endeavour he also helps to oversee a diverse program of hands-on workshops for beginners and professionals alike. He is the author of Making Better Buildings (New Society Publishers), as well as several books about straw bale construction.
