To create the best organic material for a garden, build a 4 by 4 enclosure, add potting soil and fill this type bed with earthworms. Feed the earthworms table scraps and cornmeal and the worms will multiply quickly. Worm farming makes organic compost for the garden, within a short period of time the soil will become enriched and can be used for your gardens. Earthworms consume a large amount of foodstuff daily, giving you a use for your table scraps.

Some cities are now considering using earthworms in their trash dump areas, since each worm eats its weight in scrap daily.
